About the Guard   Non Service Prior Service Member Officer Qualifications Recruiter Contact                                               PATHS TO AN OCS COMMISSION - ACCELERATED OCS NGB Officer Candidate School Options Accelerated NGB Officer Candidate School  The National Guard Bureau (NGB) conducts an eight-week Accelerated OCS program for qualified personnel. This program is an intense course conducted over 8 weeks, from January to March and June to August each year.
